How AI Video Background Removal Works
Video background removal, also called video matting, separates the subject from the background in every frame of a clip. It is harder than removing the background from a single photo: the cutout has to stay consistent from one frame to the next, or edges flicker and fine details such as hair shimmer during playback. Frame-accurate matting keeps the subject's outline stable across the whole clip, so the result can be placed over a new background, a solid color, or another video.
Marketing and product videos
Place products and presenters on branded backgrounds without a green screen, and reuse the same footage across campaigns.
Social media content
Cut out creators and subjects for short-form video, then composite them over new scenes, captions, or brand colors.
Courses and presentations
Remove a cluttered room from talking-head recordings and put the speaker over slides or a clean studio background.
E-commerce video
Give product demo clips the same clean, consistent look as the still product photos in your catalog.
